Nourishment
not a diet
We take a client centred non prescriptive approach to nutrition.
We believe you should focus on creating healthy habits that foster a positive and supportive mindset, rather than adopting a diet that feels restrictive and negative.
We do recommend designing your own personalised meal plan that includes three balanced meals each day, which truly nourish both your body and mind, rather than relying on traditional dieting methods.

Focus on nourishment not restriction
After years of trying different ways of dieting you might be tempted to throw up your hands and give up on weight-loss diets altogether.
A positive approach may be to adjust your approach from “what foods must I avoid” to “ what foods should I be aiming for” things start to change for the better. Move towards instead of moving away from.

Just have 3 Square meals !
This method focuses on eating three meals a day with no snacks. You build a set of meals over time that match your health goals. After this habit is established, pay attention to getting the right balance of protein, carbs, vegetables, and fruits in each meal.
This becomes your foundation of nourishment (not your diet)

What is a Square meal ?
A square meal contains four equal portions. 1 portion is a similar size to your clenched fist.
As a starting base point aim for 1 portion of protein, 1 portion of carbohydrate and 2 portions of veg / fruit with each of the 3 meals.
